AM I PREGNANT?

If you are sexually active, it is possible to become pregnant. Using "protection" reduces the risk of pregnancy and STIs but the risks have not been avoided. Here are some common signs of pregnancy, but please be aware that there are other medical conditions that can cause these symptoms.

PREGNANCY SYMPTOMS

Missed Period / Swollen, Sensitive or Sore Breast Tissue / Fatigue & Unusual Tiredness/ Nausea/Morning Sickness / Dizziness / Headaches / Frequent Urination

HOW FAR ALONG AM I?

How Far Along Am I? Ovulation usually occurs in the middle of a 28-day cycle - about 14 days after the first day of a woman’s last period. (Many women have more or fewer than 28 days in their cycle or may ovulate at a time different than this 14-day average.) If you were sexually active around the time of ovulation, it’s possible to become pregnant. While only medical doctors can diagnose pregnancy, we can help estimate how far along you may be. If you have a positive pregnancy test at LIFEBRIDGE, we can refer you to one of our providing medical clinics to receive a free ultrasound to determine more about your pregnancy including gestational age.

WHAT'S MY NEXT STEP?

  2. ULTRASOUND - Having an ultrasound is an important next step if you have had a positive pregnancy test at LIFEBRIDGE. A referral will be made for you to receive a FREE limited ultrasound.

  3. STI/STD TESTING If you have been involved with sexual activity involving skin to skin contact, you are at risk. Many STI/STD's have hidden symptoms and other symptoms can be easily ignored.  Unprotected Sex = Testing, Every Time.
